FLAM (Fibre-Light-Arctic-Module)
Competition work for “mobile media-centric habitation and work unit” (organized by API).
Z shaped Carbon Fibre frame structure is extremely light and durable, and external inflatable skin is also light and keeps room comfortable, and penetrates natural light beautifully. Plug in utility service is adjustable/upgradable for any scale or any purpose of mission in Arctic. Air-transportable mobile unit weights only approx.300kg (main frame structure). This project is for further settlement to make larger community.
